The RM7 Satellite's surprising performance belies it diminutive go-anywhere size. Dynamic Balance® technology, our 2.5" composite driver and a woven silk dome 12mm tweeter produce the legendary Polk Audio sound-warm and full, yet with the detail, clarity and transparency so vital for crisp, clear voice and music. The RM7's signature Reuleaux Triangular Polygon cabinet is extremely rigid and acoustically ideal for minimizing resonances and standing waves inside the speaker. The "boominess" that makes other small speakers sound "muddy" is avoided, and what you hear is superior, uncolored performance and lifelike imaging. 

Delivering the most performance possible from so compact a speaker meant focusing on the smallest and most subtle details in the anti-difraction baffle design. Special radii around the driver and tweeter openings, which have been acoustically sculpted, achieve the largest possible dispersion pattern with virtually no edge diffraction or distortion.
